The Texas Sunset Advisory Commission reviews state agencies subject to the Texas Sunset Act to determine if the agencies are providing necessary services in an effective manner, and if the agencies or functions should be continued, abolished, or modified. Records of the commission are meeting minutes, agenda, voting sheets, roll calls, lists of witnesses, decision materials, reports, correspondence, memoranda, legislative bills, bill analyses, notes, charts, newsletters, press releases, transcripts, recommendations, and budget requests of the commission, 1977-2005.
